SUMMER HOME
Wanting a turn-key summer retreat, this Texas couple gave me a budget,
a wish list, and said, “GO!” They wanted to return to a brand new
space “reality TV reveal style”. The clients wanted to be pushed out
of their traditional style and wanted color. I used soothing green as
the base with pops of yellow and watermelon color for a fresh summer
look. I kept a few traditional elements while adding some pieces for
a “collected, world traveler” look.
PEARL CONDO
The owners of this new condominium in the Encore were downsizing from
a 3500 sq ft house to just under 1000 sq ft. Both desired a sleek and
clean contemporary design that allowed for maximum functionality and
storage while maintaining an uncluttered and harmonious design
aesthetic. Their requirements were met through the use of a limited
color pallet, multifunctional furniture and custom built-ins.
ENCORE CONDO
Clean-line traditional furnishings best describes this transitional
styling. This high-rise condominium corner unit is filled with light
from wall to wall windows on two sides. The bright light was one of
the main reasons the owner selected this unit. Existing furniture
was positioned to take advantage of the view and ample light. Lacking
a fireplace, a custom wall unit with a vent-less fireplace was
designed and installed.
THE MADELEINE RECTORY
The offices in the Rectory of The Madeleine Church where severely
outdated and no longer functional for the needs of the staff and
parishioners. A tight budget required creative solutions while
updating the offices in keeping with the existing character of the
building. New flooring, ceilings, crown molding and painted walls
contributed to a much brighter and refreshed surrounding. New
furniture and space planning completed the redesign to create a
functional and beautiful environment.
